Alya’s creative ambition extends beyond the screen. Understanding the value of expansive intellectual property in today’s market, she is currently adapting the world of her upcoming film into a companion novel, Zaila Crown.
She is also the creator and producer of the digital series The Director’s Chair, demonstrating her dedication to exploring the craft of filmmaking and engaging with the wider cinematic community. By combining traditional filmmaking expertise with a forward-thinking approach to modern post-production and digital brand strategy, Alya Faiz is building Little Lady Films into a powerhouse of modern storytelling.

At the helm of Little Lady Films is Alya Faiz, a visionary filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer with a deep commitment to visual storytelling. Holding a Master’s degree in Film and Television from Beaconhouse National University (2016), Alya brings a rigorous academic foundation and a sophisticated creative eye to every project she undertakes.
As a director and producer, she oversees the complete lifecycle of production—from the initial spark of a screenplay through complex post-production and final delivery. Her current directorial feature, Zaila, showcases her ability to navigate nuanced human experiences while managing the demanding logistics of a premium film set.
